　　Shenzhen Free Art Creation Base (“Shenzhen Creaction Base” in short), spontaneously formed in the society, founded on Jan.1,2007, was initiated by Shenzhen artists Du Yinghong, Zhou Wei etc. At present, the Base has had 40 artists, with 2400 square meters being put into use. The involved art realm includes easel painting, sculpture, installation, behaviors etc. A number of academic exhibitions have been successfully held. Among them, the anti-airborne art program, art supermarket exhibition, the series of Shenzhen arts salon, arts quack, and other activities have had positive impact in the society and the art domains. Now, the Base has set up strategic partnership with nearly 100 medias, a number of art museums at home and abroad, the galleries, and institutions. built up a very good. We are making our efforts on the construction of vanguard culture for Shenzhen Creation Base.

 

　　We will uphold the concept of establishing local pioneer arts and cultures, and stick to the academic position of independence and objectiveness, together with the interaction of Shenzhen Art Web, Pioneer art Web, initiatively take the social responsibility of promoting Free art in Shenzhen, and actively guide the public to participate the development and progress of Shenzhen arts.

　　Shenzhen Creaction Base is located at the junction of Qianhai Road and Dongbing Road in Nanshan, where is only 10 minutes from Hongkong by car, so the transportation is convenient. The Base was founded On January 1, 2007 and officially opened to the outside.

　　Shenzhen Free Art Creation Base takes the society of artists, the life and the creation as the primary basis, strives to establish and improve the local arts ecology in Shenzhen, fully carries on the spirit of creativity of reform & opening up in Shenzhen, to make the Base become the window of pioneer arts in the South of China, and to make it become the important “name card” of Free arts in Pan-Pearl River Delta with the function of Arts Museum.
　　 
　　1. Perfect the local arts ecology in Shenzhen.

　　Citizens are fee to enter Creation Base for the activities on the First of each month and some theme exhibitions. On the one hand, it becomes the base for the artists’ social life and creation. On the other hand, it perfects the local arts ecology in Shenzhen from the perspective of developing Free folk arts. Thus, the Free art in Shenzhen  is full of more expectations and possibilities.

　　2. Everyday Exhibition.

　　The view of Everyday Exhibition is mainly from the 40 outstanding member artists. In front of the 26 studios in Creation Base, there are independent display areas for each studio. In the course of creation, artists will continuously update their works, guaranteeing the Every Exhibition being possible and also ensuring there are something new every day in Creation Base.

 

　　Creation Base invites outstanding artists at home and abroad to have guest communication from time to time, so that the artists can have various academic activities. It also improves the popularity of Shenzhen Creation Base. There are visits and exchanges with Arts Centers in other areas, which are the effective strategies to operate it and maintain its vitality. The Base will not only improve the overall creation level of the outstanding artists, but also enhance the achievements of Shenzhen Creation Base and the humanistic view of the experimental arts.

　　4, Actively exerts its function of museum display and social education.

　　Shenzhen Creation Base will have cooperation with Guangzhou Arts College, Shenzhen University, Shezhen Higher Vocational College, Bluesky Arts Space to make it become a Free arts education base for direct arts sketching and creation. By taking advantage of the appeal and influence of Artists Community and exerting its function of museum display and social education, more and more citizens and students can come the Creation Base for free visit and study, the social influences of the Contemporary Arts and the function of pioneer culture will be constantly expanded.
